Now in its 6th generation, the Alien Cam is back and better than ever. While sticking to its routes that were born way back in 1986, the Alien X cam is even more versatile being suitable for more placements and on a wider variety of rock surfaces than ever before. They are an essential piece of gear on any true trad rack. Hand made in Barcelona, the appeal of Alien cams has always been their low volume and narrow head, as well as being extremely light weight. Having a narrower head means they can fit in pin scars or small openings where others just can't. The new textured contact surface also increases the friction on smooth rock surfaces like that found in Arapiles.

The ergonomics of the Alien X Cam have also been refined with a larger trigger and thumb loop which makes them even usable with gloves. The extendable sling dramatically reduces walking while placed and also reduces bulk when racked on your climbing harness. The larger three sizes being #4,5,6 can also be used as passive protection which makes them even more versatile.
