The JHS Colour Box V2 is your Neve console strip in a box! Fantastic controls and plenty of outputs lets you EQ and Master any input. This is an improvement over the first version with an addition of an Output transformer, 48V Phantom Power, EQ Shift Knobs for precision EQ control, and a Hi/Lo Switch for ultra clean headroom. 

The red Gain section consists of three distinct controls: Master, Pre-Vol, and Step. The Master knob regulates the overall volume output of the unit, while the Pre-Vol knob adjusts the gain between the two internal gain stages, providing a range of "drive" or "gain" levels. The Step control increases the gain in five stages, with each rotation increasing the gain by a specific amount (+18 dB, +23 dB, +28 dB, +33 dB, or +39 dB). The new Hi / Lo switch allows for control over clean headroom, with Lo mode providing ultra clean sounds and Hi mode offering a wider range of overdrive, distortion, and fuzz tones. Additionally, the Colour Box V2 features a -20dB pad switch for XLR inputs, which helps to manage the volume of high output microphones. The blue EQ section now includes three Shift controls that correspond to the standard Treble, Middle, and Bass controls.
