What Is PSA Grading?

• PSA grading evaluates the condition of trading cards, assigning a score from 1 to 10. A higher score enhances the card's value, appeal to collectors, and overall marketability.

Declared Value

• Declared value refers to the estimated market value of the card after it has been graded by PSA.
• This service covers up to $300 Declared market value (as determined by PSA)
• Market tools such as PriceCharting, TCGPlayer, 130 Point or eBay (Last Sold Listings) to gauge a price.

• If PSA determines a card’s value exceeds the initial grading tier, an additional fee for the appropriate tier will be applied. This means your card is worth more – a good problem to have!

  We will send a notification, invoice, and evidence if an upcharge is applied. Our upcharge is calculated at 10% of the card’s final declared value, less the grading fee already paid.

  Example:

  • Final declared value: $1,000 AUD

  • 10% of value: $100 AUD

  • Less original grading fee: $50 AUD

  • Upcharge payable: $50 AUD

  This covers GST, additional insurance, and our service fee.

Exclusions:

• Return postage is available at $10 Standard (with Signature on Delivery included) or $15 Express (with Signature on Delivery included). Insurance is optional, but recommended and available, at additional cost and dependant on the total value of all cards included in the return submission. Pick-up submissions (Melbourne-based) are not subject to any additional costs.
