Channel one is optimized specifically for piezo pickups, which is where most acoustic guitar players live, and includes an active three-band EQ, a pick attack control that shapes the transient response for fingerpicking or strumming, two independent feedback notch filters for zeroing in on problem frequencies before they become a problem, and separate gain and volume controls for precise level management. The phase button with status LED handles the phase issues that regularly plague acoustic instruments through a PA or amp — a simple, practical tool that gets used at nearly every gig. Channel two features a balanced XLR mic input with phantom power for condenser microphones, a quarter-inch line input for a second instrument, the same EQ and feedback controls as channel one, and an enhancer circuit in place of the attack control for adding presence and air to a vocal or secondary instrument signal.
