Setting up and taking down the tent

This tent uses a classic dome setup. Simply install the poles with the bedroom and then attach the flysheet. To dismantle, simply reverse the process. In windy conditions, it is recommended to install the guy ropes provided in the cover.

Mattress compatibility

Tent recommended with self-inflating mattresses or trekking mattresses up to 65 cm wide. We do not recommend using inflatable mattresses thicker than 8 cm in this tent. This significantly reduces the volume inside the tent and promotes condensation inside.

Tent ventilation

To allow air to circulate and be renewed between the bedroom and the double roof and to best limit the natural phenomenon of condensation, the tent has 1 ventilation on the top.

Waterproofing of the tent

All our tents are tested in the lab and in the field to ensure waterproofing. To achieve this, we place the entire tent under a shower that releases 200 liters of water per hour for 3 hours. The flysheet is made of 2000mm Schmerber PU-coated polyester, the groundsheet is 120 g/m² polyethylene, and all seams are sealed with heat-sealed tape.

Wind resistance

We test all of our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable to expose each of these faces. The well-pitched tent with all the guy lines well deployed around the tent must remain habitable with a wind speed measured at 40 km/h near the ground (Force 5).
