The Cube Attain SL road bike is a remarkable piece of German engineering, offering all-day comfort and control. The Attain SL is built with a 6061 aluminium frame and double-butted tubes which produce a durable and lightweight frame. A tapered steerer, 12mm rear axles and a mechanically formed down tube give the Attain a stiff platform to transfer power and maximise every stroke. On the other hand comfort is significantly improved by the carbon fork and slender seat stays which reduces shock and vibration for a smooth ride. Cube’s Smooth Welding gives the aluminium frame a crisp and organic finish. While all of the cables are neatly routed internally for a clean look and to protect the cables from the elements.

This high-performance frame forms a great combination with the 2x11 speed Shimano 105 groupset which gives you the range of gears to climb and descend swiftly. The 105 Hydraulic Disc Brakes give you all-weather control and reliable braking power when you need it, giving you plenty of confidence in the saddle. When Cube set out to design the Attain their goal was to fuse pace and comfort for the ultimate aluminium road bike. Features

Advanced Hyrdoforming: The new STEREO , FRITZZ and HANZZ models are built using Advanced Hydroforming. Conventional hydroforming processes cannot achieve these custom shapes and technical advantages. As this manufacturing method reduces the number of welds, the weight is reduced while durability is increased.

Press Fit BB: With Press Fit bearings, the bottom bracket bearings are pressed directly into the frame. This gives a wider bottom bracket shell and allows us to build a wider down tube and more broadly-spaced chainstays. Every millimetre of additional width gives a significant improvement in lateral stiffness.

Aluminium Superlite: Extremely high tensile strength heat-treated 7005 aluminium alloy is developed for the highest requirements. It is very stiff, fatigue resistant, corrosion resistant and has high elongation. Our Superlite tubes are double butted, giving very light tubesets with a high level of stiffness.

Integrated Cable Routing: Internally routed cables offer many advantages. Cables are protected from dirt for longer life, weight is saved thanks to the absence of external housing and the bike has a clean, eek appearance.

Tapered Steerer: This steerer tube design is stiffer than a conventional straight steerer and yields a more secure ride feel even in difficult terrain. Minimal flex at the front of the frame means the greatest possible steering precision. With the larger steerer, the forks become more rigid and the weight is saved due to the absence of bearing shells as the lower bearing is fully integrated into the head tube.

Wet Paint Surface: On polished, brushed aluminium and all HPC frames, the logos and graphics are applied in multi-layer wet paint to save weight.
