Yu-Gi-Oh
Some cards belong in a binder.
Others deserve permanence.
Lumen III is an LED illuminated trading card display frame case designed for collectors who want their display to become a focal point. With expanded scale and commanding proportions, it transforms raw trading cards and TCG layouts into structured, gallery-style presentation.

Hand-assembled in our FrameLab workshop, each frame is precision cut, aligned, sealed, and individually inspected before dispatch. A concealed LED system introduces depth and controlled contrast, allowing your collection to stand out with clarity and intention.

No flashing effects.
No novelty lighting.
Just deliberate, gallery-level presence.

Specification
• Exterior dimensions: 52 × 72 × 3 cm
• USB powered LED illumination
• Warm White LED – three-level integrated dimmer with inline controller
• RGB LED Upgrade – multi-colour selection (single brightness level, not dimmable)
• Precision cut matboard insert
• Clear lightweight acrylic front sheet
• Compatible with standard trading card sleeves and perfect-fit sleeves
• Individually assembled and inspected

Sleeves are included according to selected card size.
Trading cards are not included.

Card Mount Options
Choose how your cards are presented:

Classic Sleeve Fit
A clean, flush presentation designed for standard sleeved trading cards. Each card is affixed to the backboard using subtle adhesive to maintain perfect alignment and prevent shifting, preserving a minimal and precise display.

Mount selection determines internal cut depth and presentation profile.

Lighting Architecture
The LED strip is recessed within the inner lip of the frame and concealed behind the matboard perimeter. Light diffuses across the recessed edge to create a soft halo effect without direct spotlighting.

Diodes are not visible when viewed front-on.

The standard Warm White configuration provides controlled, gallery-style illumination with three adjustable brightness levels.

The optional RGB upgrade allows you to select individual static colours, changing to a different colour with each button press. The RGB system operates at a single fixed brightness level and does not include flashing or cycling effects.

The result is illumination that enhances structure and depth without harsh glare.

Subtle when dimmed.
Striking when elevated.

Materials & Protection
Lumen III features a clear lightweight acrylic front sheet selected for optical clarity and balanced construction. This material presents colour, surface detail, and card texture cleanly without distortion.

The included acrylic is not UV protective. This decision prioritises visual clarity and structural balance. Collectors requiring UV filtration may independently upgrade glazing if desired.

Three matboard options are available:

• Black with White Core
• Black with Black Core
• White with White Core
• Custom Colour White Core

All matboards are selected for long-term display stability and precision edge finish.

Please note: Black Core and Custom Colour matboards may add approximately 5 business days due to specialty ordering.

Modular System
Your collection evolves.
Your display should evolve with it.

Each frame includes one precision cut insert selected at purchase. Layout configuration determines card quantity and arrangement while the external frame body remains consistent.

Interchangeable inserts allow you to refresh configuration without replacing the entire frame.

A modular system designed for growing collections, not static display.

Production, Handling & Dispatch
Each Lumen III display is built to order and individually assembled in our FrameLab workshop. Every frame is prepared according to the selected configuration and undergoes careful alignment, finishing, and final inspection prior to dispatch.

Standard Production & Handling Time
Up to 10 business days prior to dispatch.

While many orders are completed sooner, we advise allowing the full 10 business days.

Black Core and Custom Colour matboards may add approximately 5 business days due to specialty ordering.

Priority Build (+15%)
An optional Priority Build upgrade reduces the production timeframe to 3–5 business days and moves your order to the front of the queue.

A Permanent Place for What Matters
Whether you are presenting championship runs, milestone pulls, curated raw TCG arrangements, or cornerstone pieces that define your collection, Lumen III delivers scale, structure, and controlled LED illumination.

This is not storage.
It is presentation.

Because collecting is personal.
Display should be intentional.

Great Sequel to Long Halloween
Format: Paperback
This takes all of the great elements of the Long Halloween and keeps it going. The two of those books together is a great story telling. Ticks all the boxes of a great Batman book. If you like this and Long Halloween check out The Penguin show on HBO Max. and if you like The Penguin but haven't read these two books you should since the show pulls a lot of influence from them.

The Robin Origin Tale We Needed
Format: Paperback
Hot off The Long Halloween Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale return for another murder mystery. This is a direct sequel and follows the aftermath of The Long Halloween. The art is stellar and the story is deep and dark. The trinity of Batman, Dent and Gordon is gone and the isolation is real. At the heart of it, life goes on. Sofia Falcone is back and ready to get revenge. Meanwhile, Dick Grayson's about to go through the darkest chapter of his life. There's a surprise villain who makes a chilling introduction and much more. If you wanted more after Batman: Year One and The Long Halloween, this is the book for you.

If Batman #666 is canon, then this collection is important.
I just read this Batman collection again and found a much greater appreciation for these stories than I did the first time around (not that they were all that bad to begin with). Of course, Grant Morrison's run on Batman has gone on another two years since Batman & Son, so reading this now allows you to put some added perspective on what's going on here. First of all, you have the introduction of Batman's son, Damien (this is not a spoiler, isn't it pretty obvious from the title?), who has since already gone on to a larger role in the DC Universe. I think some important take-aways from these initial issues of Grant Morrison's run are Damien's origins and his character/attitude. I believe that Damien's character is going to have a big impact on what happens with Batman (and Dick Grayson) in the near future. You also get a pretty unique Joker story, primarily told in text form. I really think Morrison shines in this kind of story-telling medium. Additionally, if you pay attention, there are definitely some clues in Batman & Son that foreshadow the next events in Morrison's saga. Lastly, there is issue #666. I don't want to give anything away about the story, but I have heard that Grant Morrison considers this to be part of the Batman canon (meaning that it is authentic to the whole Batman universe). If so, then in addition to the story, there are some particular frames that I think are going to be meaningful down the road For example, the one with Damien mourning over a Batman body and also the one from Damien's memory, showing three Bat-folk fighting crime together in the future. Overall, I have become very pleased with Grant Morrison's work on this title. Of the comics that I currently follow, he is surpassing them all in excellence, even beyond what Ed Brubaker is doing with Captain America. Once you read this collection, you will certainly want to go on to the next one.. Batman: The Black Glove.

A comic pro weighs in
Everything was crisp about this story arc, and it certainly was a twist over others in the series... Batman had a son ! Who knew ?! The art was great (even though I don't go in for the computerized age LOL), and they characterizations were bold. I do think that 1 more story or additional pages were needed to set up this story a slight bit better, as I hate flashbacks that add history that are 'made up' on the spot. DC should've have authorized a new story, exclusive to this volume, with background detail with forethought to the plot. Overall A+ (but for Batman, anything less than A++ is suspicious).
