Characteristics of the variety:

- Wavyleaf Sea Lavender (Limonium sinuatum), commonly known in Chinese as "Forget-me-not" or "Everlasting Flower", is a perennial herbaceous plant belonging to the genus Limonium in the family Plumbaginaceae. It reaches a height of 30-60 cm with a spread of 22-30 cm. The persistent, papery calyx displays blue hues, adorned with small white central florets, resembling stars in the night sky - hence its poetic name. The oblong anthers are characteristic, with a natural flowering period from summer to early autumn (June-August), though this can be regulated through cultivation. This plant thrives in sunny, dry and cool conditions, while being intolerant to waterlogging and humidity. It demonstrates excellent drought and salt tolerance, preferring loose, fertile, well-drained slightly alkaline soils.

- Valued for its long-lasting floral display and colorfast calyx that retains hue when dried, it serves as an outstanding ornamental for flower beds, borders and rock gardens, while being particularly prized for cut and dried flower arrangements. Ecologically, it contributes to soil structure improvement and erosion prevention. In traditional medicine, its sweet-cool nature and flavonoid content provide heat-clearing, detoxifying, vision-improving, yin-nourishing, kidney-tonifying, swelling-reducing and pain-relieving properties. In European culture, this flower frequently symbolizes lovesick devotion in literature and poetry, carrying the floral meanings of "eternal love", "profound affection" and "steadfast heart".

If you are thinking of the Camino, This book is for you!
Format: Kindle
I just had a friend who walked 32 days on the Camino, and I chose this book to learn more about what it would be like. This was an excellent choice. The author outlines what pilgrims can expect and how to prepare for the experience. I had not realized there are six paths: The French, Northern, English, Portuguese, Orrigonal, and Silver Ways. It turned out that my friend was on the Portuguese way. The different paths range from three hundred to a thousand kilometers. The author goes through each of the "ways" and does a daily highlight of the number of kilometers one walks and the sights to expect. This book whetted my appetite to consider a walk like this; it would be a great resource for any pilgrim.

A Great Source for Practical Knowledge for Planning Your Ideal Pilgrimage to Camino de Santiago
Format: Paperback
This book is exactly what I was hoping for such as what the highlight of each village is with some photos. The level of difficulty, characteristics, and advice, not to mention a bonus QR code with up-to-date info on places to stay at each stage. It’s a terrific, easy to follow book, and I highly suggest purchasing a copy if you are called to this journey!
