Our exclusive ECO-CO™ is an earth-friendly planting mix derived from coconut husks. It’s perfect to use on its own as a planting mix in pots, planters and window boxes, or as a peat-free alternative when you make your own planting mixes. Unlike other coco coir products, our ECO-CO™ undergoes a special process to remove salts and to balance the pH for optimal plant growth. Coco coir has excellent water-holding capacity, yet drains well — so important for healthy root growth. Our blend is a mix of fine and coarse grinds to provide the perfect environment for plant roots. Carbon-rich coir is also handy for layering with nitrogen-rich kitchen scraps and lawn clippings in the compost pile. It also makes a good bedding material for worm composters. Simply add water and each convenient compressed ECO-CO™ brick expands to 10 quarts of fluffy mix.

The dogs LOVE their Gumby toys! Do I expect them to last long? Not with this dog. In fact, the dog pictured began chewing Gumby's arm off shortly after this photo and had to be redirected, given a chew, and the Amazon box to shred before trying Gumby again. However, if your dog is like my Boston and more gentle on soft toys then this toy will last a long time. Her Gumby remains fully intact and loved. So, if you're buying this, just know your dog's style of play and how they treat soft toys, then purchase with reasonable expectations. I knew my wild man would destroy this, he destroys the tough made stuffies, but he has fun doing it and you can't beat the $3 price. Overall it's a cute toy at a good price. It's fun to play fetch with it in the house, but I wouldn't tug at it. Playing tug could rip it.

After a good scrub, the dogs love them!

These gumby toys are flexible rubber, and exactly what you'd expect for the price. I ordered three to replace two that had been gifts well loved by my dogs. I read reviews mentioning smell, but wasn't really prepared for it when the package arrived. They all arrived zip tied to a paperboard backing. They all smelled like a fine fragrance designed for robots - like burning motor oil with floral undertones - and the zip ties were stained a sickly green wherever they touched Gumby. Initially, my dogs wanted nothing to do with them, even after a good scrub. I left them to air out in the shed for a few days and then ran them through the dishwasher (without cleanser!) and they were good to go. My dogs love these toys. I know they're not going to last long! I know the arms will get yanked or chewed off first, and then the corner of Gumby's head will go missing. Eventually, his head will be ripped into tiny pieces and strewn about my living room. I know that, sooner or later (and probably sooner!), Gumby will be little more than a torso with weird square legs. And that's okay, because that means my dogs enjoyed the toy. People complaining about a $7 flexible rubber toy not being appropriate for heavy chewers don't understand what dogs need, or what dog toys are for. Part of the satisfaction that chewing brings for dogs is also shredding. Dogs destroy stuff. Some more than others. It's what they do. No toy will last forever if it's used! But I have five dogs, including bully breeds and a Saint Bernard, plus two occasional visitors, and these toys have lasted longer than expected (even if their arms are off in minutes!) The dogs in the pictures are 90 and 120 pounds, modeling both a well loved older Gumby and a brand new one.
