Pinanga coronata - Ivory Cane Palm

Pinanga coronata, commonly known as the Ivory Cane Palm, is a graceful clumping palm admired for its slender, ringed trunks and arching, feathery fronds. Its striking green foliage with subtle silver undersides adds a lush, tropical aesthetic to indoor and outdoor spaces. This versatile palm is well-suited for part shaded to shaded areas and can grow to a height of 3–6 meters, making it perfect as a feature plant, in tropical garden settings, or as part of an indoor plant collection.

Position

Ivory Cane Palm thrives in partial to full shade, performing best in protected areas with filtered light. It can thrive in full sun once acclimatised. It prefers well-drained, fertile soil enriched with organic matter and appreciates warm, humid conditions. Sensitive to frost, it is ideal for tropical and subtropical climates or as an indoor plant in cooler regions.

Growth

This moderate-growing, clumping palm reaches a mature height of 3–6 meters with a spread of 2–3 meters. Its elegant fronds and slender, ringed trunks make it a stunning choice for creating tropical ambiance, whether as a specimen plant or planted in groups for lush screens.

Planting Guide

Pinanga coronata grows best in well-drained soil enriched with organic matter. Plant in spring or autumn, spacing clumps about 2–3 meters apart for natural spread. For container planting, use a high-quality tropical potting mix, and position the container in a shaded or semi-shaded location. Water thoroughly after planting, and apply mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds.

Plant Care

Water regularly during the establishment phase, keeping the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Feed with a balanced, slow-release fertiliser formulated for palms during the growing season to encourage healthy growth and vibrant foliage. Remove any yellowing or damaged fronds as needed to maintain a tidy appearance. Mulching around the base helps retain moisture and protect roots in warmer climates.

Safe for your dogs teeth
Pattern Name: 4 Medium balls
These balls are fantastic. They are better for our dogs teeth. Traditional tennis balls have a material that will shave down dogs teeth after prolonged use. These are safe for their teeth. Bounce incredibly high. Which our Aussie loves and the bright colors make them easy to find in the yard: I highly recommend these!

Great product that is tougher that it looks.
Pattern Name: 3 Large balls
I have a Malinois/GSD and most toys do not last with him as he finds a way to tear it and shred it but this one has and it’s a great product. Feels like a rubbery foam nerf ball and at first I was concerned that it would not last but it surely has and it’s one of my dogs favorite toy to play with and catch.

Grateful!
Style: 28oz, Size: 40 Count (Pack of 1)
I’m going through intensive medical treatments at the moment, so the very last thing I need to be worried about is doing dishes and using all my energy doing so. These plates have made my life so much easier! It is honestly a relief to have plates that are sturdy, provide enough room for a good portion, and don’t cost too much. Genuinely grateful!
