 How can you not be drawn to the beautiful colours and patterns in variegated rubber fig plants? Their waxy leaves make them shine and their colours sing, so they are a joy to paint. I've captured this plant zoomed in to create a contemporary composition and contrasted it with a striking, striped background, both of which combine to make a decorative statement painting. It's fun, quirky and brings the outdoors in.

This painting pairs well with 'Monstera Plant on Stripes' from the my plant painting collection. Shown here in the final image.

Although this painting comes unframed, it would look great framed in white or oak (as shown) and would suit any room from living room to kitchen and would even look fab in a bathroom.

The varnish protects and enhances the painting and ensures the colours do not fade over time.
