- Most types of bananas plants prefer to grow in full sun, meaning at least six hours of direct sunlight on most days. However, some varieties can scorch easily and will do better in partial shade.
- These plants love organically rich, deep soil with good drainage and a slightly acidic soil pH. They typically have poor tolerance for salt in the soil.
- Banana trees are tropical and originate in rainforests, so they need a lot of water and plenty of moisture in the air. They do best when planted in groups fairly close together, as this helps to retain moisture in the leaves. Water regularly to make sure the soil stays evenly moist but not soggy. Avoid overwatering, which can cause root rot.
- These plants thrive in warm, humid conditions, but they don't like temperature extremes. Even the hardy, cold-tolerant banana tree species prefer consistent temperatures ranging between 75 and 95 degrees Fahrenheit.

Be careful purchasing this.
We bought this for an ice-cream maker - they never sent the initial startup you bought this email. So I had to fight with them that yeah we bought it.
Then they classified it as an ice-maker - important for pictures later . Then we had bought the machine and insurance partially with gift cards not a big deal, right? - well, the machine cost $300ish but showed on the receipt total as $180ish - guess which amount they wanted to pay out for? Then they wanted pictures showing serial number and such on the machine. I sent them pictures of each side clearly showing no stickers. Take more pictures of the front and top because what you took wasn't good - MAYBE because you thought it was an ice-maker... Take a picture showing what doesn't work - it will spin and move, but the compressor broke so it won't get cold - NOT GETTING COLD is something I can't show... it was fun being told to take a video showing it not getting cold only to tell them yeah no I am not wasting my time doing that.
There was a lot of repetitive stuff but they did eventually pay out the correct amount. Would I buy it again? Yes. Is it as easy as they make it out to be? No.
Did I WANT to give this review? No, because I didn't want to leave a negative review. I am a very charming, nice, and personable guy that didn't want to be mean. Keep pestering me enough about leave a review about how great we are and you will get the review you probably did not want.

You can trust ASURION warranties!
ASURION was fantastic as always. Purchased a Nespresso machine for my DIL which she absolutely loved and two months before warranty expired it started leaking which broke her heart. ASURION stood behind their warranty and refunded purchase price which I transferred to my DIL so she could purchase another machine. Very quick refund. Basic. Simple. Works.
Size: Medium Capacity
I've been wanting a toaster oven for simple stuff, like warming up frozen rolls, broiling an open faced sandwich, etc. Nothing fancy. Not looking to roast a chicken, bake a cake, etc. Just something for when a microwave won't do (you need crispy) and you don't want to heat up the whole kitchen by firing up a big oven (especially during the summer in Florida). This little appliance does the trick. Heats up instantly, no pre-heating. Melts the cheese on an open faced sandwich in just a couple of minutes. Has a crumb tray for easy clean up. The controls are super basic. I mostly use the toaster timer, which makes a hilariously retro ticking sound (apparently it uses an old-fashioned mechanical timer), and just watch through the glass window to see when things are done, since cook time is usually just a couple of minutes for what I'm doing. No digital displays or controls. Really basic. Which also means really inexpensive. Controls weren't immediately intuitive, but by "immediate" I mean that it took me all of a minute or two to figure out how to make the toaster oven do what I wanted. Simple. I already have a full-size oven for serious baking, so I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars and take up a lot of counter space for a fancy appliance. This simple, small, inexpensive toaster oven is just what I needed -- basically a horizontal, enclosed toaster, just like I remember from the good 'ol days.
