While it should do well in filtered light, more direct light will have its olive-green leaves turning purple to reddish-brown. And then there's the flowers! • Fertilizing: Feed sparingly, only during the growing season (spring and summer), using a balanced, low-nitrogen fertilizer diluted to about half the recommended strength.
