These strong horizontal lines give the plant a textured, washboard-like look. The leaves grow in a tight rosette, forming a sturdy and sculptural shape that stands out even in small pots.                                                                                                                                                            
  This plant grows slowly and stays relatively small, making it ideal for indoor spaces. Over time, it produces offsets around the base, forming a clustered group. Mature plants may send up a thin flower stalk with small, pale flowers. It is easy to propagate by separating and replanting the offsets.
