A very compact grower, the fat, stubby foliage grows in a surprising and pleasing upright, sideways star shape, each leaf sprouting from the base atop the one before, endlessly stacking in a geometric evenness. Look at the base and see the pattern, kindof like a braid unfurling. The pale green leaves have deep green rings sketched on them randomly. Starfish is super easy going with its light requirements, anywhere is fine, but in the brightest light you can sometimes be rewarded with a tall, green spire decorated with bunches of small, evenly spaced white flower bunches that spray out sideways like a bottle brush and can be sweetly fragrant. It's a lovely sight. But, as nice as the flower display is, the real attraction here is the artistic, sideways star shape. Kind of like a planty Mohawk hairdo.

Good looking shoe.

It's a good looking should which is true to size. Quality is good. However, it is not leather. Inner and outer covering are man made. For me, it's okay. I ordered a 9W which I knew would be no more than a triple E width. I'm actually a quadruple E width so it's taking a little longer to break in. I won't be using these as often as at this stage of my life, I don't have that have functions that require dressier shoes. I'm happy with this purchase, a good value for the price. The slip in feature works well like my Sketcher slip in.
