What is black seed oil?

Black seed oil is a botanical constituent obtained from the Nigella sativa plant. Black seed oil, a natural remedy renowned for its potent medicinal properties, is utilized to treat a variety of ailments, including migraines. The Nigella sativa plant, native to southwest Asia, the Middle East, and southern Europe, is often known by its common name, black seed. Other names for it include Roman coriander, nigella, black cumin, fennel flower, and black caraway. These seeds are used to obtain black seed oil. You may get the oil's capsules online and in health shops. In the areas where N. sativa is produced, the oil and the seeds—which may be eaten raw or very gently toasted—have long been utilized as therapeutic plants. It even makes an appearance in the languages of the Judeo-Christian Holy Bible and Muhammad.

How do I use black seed oil?

It may be consumed as a daily supplement in the form of a capsule containing black seed oil, or it may be utilized as a condiment or salad dressing. Furthermore, it can be utilized topically for hair and skin through direct application to the affected area or by combining it with other oils or hygiene products.

◉ May reduce acne: According to some studies, black seed oil may be beneficial for treating skin conditions like acne. This may be the result of black seed oil's antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. A topical gel containing black seed extract applied twice daily for sixty days reduced the severity of acne by 78%, according to one study. In comparison to the control group, the researchers noticed a significant decrease in the number of acne lesions.

◉ Wound healing: Speed asserts that the wound-healing properties of thymoquinone are attributed to its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial attributes. She adds that black seed oil can also stimulate collagen production, thereby accelerating the regeneration of the epidermis. However, further investigation is required due to the prevalent reliance on animal studies for data on the wound-healing properties of black seed oil.

Diabetes: In patients with diabetes, black seed oil appears to have hypoglycemic properties, suggesting that it may be effective in reducing blood sugar, according to a study published in the Indian Journal of Physiology and Pharmacology [6]. "Both fasting blood sugar levels and A1c levels (estimated glucose average) have been observed to decrease significantly with black seed oil," says Casey Kelley, M.D., founder and medical director of Case Integrative Health in Chicago and an authority on infectious diseases.

Weight Loss: Black seed oil suppresses appetite, which, according to Dr. Ilyas, may facilitate weight loss. Further research is required to determine whether the addition of black seed oil to a low-calorie diet improved body composition, including body mass index, and suppressed appetites in obese women who participated in a randomized, double-blind trial.

Great toy, just no match for my dog
Size: Large
I love this toy but it was unfortunately no match for my 75lb catahoula leopard dog, it took her about an hour tops to rip the treat out of the ball entirely and walk off with it to eat it 🤣 the side I put a bunch of her smaller treats into kept her busy longer. I'll definitely keep using it, she absolutely loves it, but shes just too good at tearing things up 😅 To be fair, shes a really heavy chewer, and usually gets frozen marrow bones as treats. This is a great alternative, especially for the price, its nice and heavy, she hasnt chewed through the rubber yet, but it probably wont be long. She doesn't throw it around like she does her other balls, but when I toss it to her its got a good bounce.

KEEPS MY ENERGETIC 1 YR OLD LAB BUSY
Size: Large
Anyone that has a field Lab knows you have to keep them busy which is difficult with the snow that won’t melt and the unusual -15 degree windchills we are having in NYC. Like others I’ve wasted so much money on various toys and puzzles trying to keep her busy and mentally stimulated. She either destroys them in minutes or won’t touch them. However, these with treats inside are fantastic. She loves the chicken flavor treats that go inside the ball. The treats for the holder are pricey but worth it so it keeps her busy for a while and she doesn’t get super hyper with cabin fever. Once I can get her back outside for longer periods to play and run off her excess energy I probably won’t be buying them on a regular basis given the price and that they only last a couple of hours given her strong jaws….Probably only for a special treat. However, for now they are worth every penny. The only con is they are difficult to get into the holder which is good so she can’t remove it.

We love em!
Size: Medium, Size: Medium
My dog loves these! I get a size smaller so it’s harder for him to eat. He’s 70lbs I get him the medium and it will last him 4 ish days. I also fuill the back with dog safe peanut butter, broken treats, and his food. This keeps him happy while I’m at work :) for reference he’s a gsd, and Australian shepherd mix. He never lets it get too far away, and proudly carries it along even when empty. He had one for over a year that just now started to break. They are very strong, great for chewers, and worth their weight in gold! When empty they also make them have the funniest faces🤣 again my dog had the first one for over a year before it started to rip. They are hardy.

Wrong item sent
Size: Small, Size: Small
The bento ball itself is great but the extra 16 treats that were sent as part of the purchase were the wrong kind. The picture used in the Amazon ad is the one shown in the left part of the picture I posted (dome shaped treats with a dog named Lacey in the picture), and what I received is shown in the right part of the picture (ridged treats with a dog named Bella in the picture). The problem with the Bella treats is that they are a bit smaller than the Lacey treats which means that they dont fit sugly into the bento ball. This in turn means that my little maltipoo gets them out of the bento ball in a few minutes. This defeats the whol purpose of the treat, and even worse this is a choking hazard for small dogs which makes the product unusable for me. FYI - I have never had this problem with the Lacey treats - they work great which is why I bought this product since this is what was shown in the picture. I sent a message to the vendor about this but have not heard anything back. Amazon offered to refund me half of the total purchase price if I sent back both the ball and the 7 of the 8 treat packages (I opened one only to discover this problem), which is also not great.

Fun, but short lived. Not tough enough for hard chewers
Size: Medium
Great idea. Wish it was tougher. My dog gets the branded treats out in ten minutes, and then destroys the ball in 30 minutes.
