Introducing the rare Cyphostemma juttae, a fascinating and unique succulent plant, a member of the Cyphostemma genus. It has several other common names, such as Namibia grape, wild grape, and tree grape, because of its large grape-like bunches. This summer-growing species is known for its striking appearance and impressive growth habit.

Originally from Namibia, it grows in rocky, arid areas covered by open, semi-tropical forests exposed to very dry and hot conditions. The Cyphostemma juttae has thick, succulent stems that can grow up to several 6 feet tall and 6 feet wide, giving it a tree-like appearance. The yellow-green stems are covered in a thick, corky bark that helps protect the wild grape from the intense heat and dry conditions of its natural habitat.

The leaves of this Cyphostemma juttae are large, ovate, shiny, toothed, and they typically fall off during the winter, helping the plant conserve water. The caudex can become quite large and impressive over time, adding to its unique and visually appealing characteristics.

The flowers of Cyphostemma juttae are in small and inconspicuous, greenish-yellow clusters that can add a touch of beauty to its already impressive appearance. This succulent, with its inconspicuous flowers, is a true showpiece for both containers and gardens due to its large grape-like bunches of bright wine-colored berries at the end of summer.

To propagate Cyphostemma juttae, you can try using stem cuttings or seeds for successful reproduction. Cuttings should be repotted in coarse river sand or in a well-drained potting mix.

Watering Needs

The Cyphostemma juttae, being a drought-tolerant succulent plant, has low watering needs. Like other caudiciform plants, it is important to allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings to prevent overwatering, which can lead to root rot. During the summer growing season, water your Cyphostemma sparingly to keep the plant cool. Make sure the soil is thoroughly soaked before watering again.

In contrast, during the dormant period in colder winter months, you should reduce watering significantly as your Cyphostemma juttae requires less moisture. It is best to water only when the soil is completely dry, about once every few weeks or even less frequently. Remember, this succulent is adapted to arid conditions, so it is more tolerant of underwatering than overwatering.

Observing the Cyphostemma juttae leaves can also provide clues about their watering needs. If the leaves appear plump and firm, it indicates that it is well-hydrated. On the other hand, if the leaves start to wrinkle or become soft, it may be a sign that your succulent needs water. Always remember to adjust your watering routine based on the specific conditions of your environment and the individual needs of Cyphostemma juttae, as too often, plants die as a result of overwatering.

Light Requirements

The Cyphostemma juttae loves basking in full sunlight to partial shade for at least 4-6 hours daily! It craves those rays to thrive and show off its unique features. Find a sunny spot near a south-facing window or in a well-lit area of your home where it can soak up the light. However, be careful not to expose your fully grown plant to direct sunlight for extended periods, as it can scorch the leaves.

If you're growing the Cyphostemma juttae outdoors, make sure to provide it with some shade during the hottest parts of the day to protect it from intense sunlight. This Cyphostemma is well-suited to arid and desert-like environments, so it can handle a good amount of sunlight. Just keep an eye on it to ensure it's not getting too much direct exposure.

Remember, each succulent plant is unique, so pay attention to how your Cyphostemma juttae responds to the light conditions in your specific location. If it starts to show signs of sunburn, like yellowing or browning leaves, it may be an indication that it needs a bit more shade. On the other hand, if it becomes leggy or stretches towards the light, it might be a sign that it needs more direct sunlight.

In summary, the Cyphostemma juttae enjoys bright, indirect sunlight and can tolerate some direct sunlight, but be mindful of its individual needs and adjust the light conditions accordingly.

Optimal Soil & Fertilizer Needs

The Cyphostemma juttae favors heavy clay soils, loamy or sandy soil that drains well. Planting them in ordinary soil quality will result in compacted roots, stunted growth, and, most likely, root rot. Instead, make or buy a well-draining potting mix, or ideally use our that contains 5 natural substrates and mycorrhizae to promote the development of a strong root system that helps your succulent to thrive.

When it comes to fertilizing the Cyphostemma juttae, it doesn't require excessive amounts of nutrients. A balanced, low-to-medium strength fertilizer can be applied during the growing season, such as a 5-10-5 fertilizer. However, it's important not to over-fertilize, as this can lead to excessive growth and potentially harm the Cyphostemma plant.

Remember, it's always a good idea to observe your succulent for any signs of nutrient deficiencies or excesses. If you notice pale or yellowing leaves, it may be a sign that the plant needs some additional nutrients. Adjusting the fertilizer application accordingly can help maintain the health and vitality of your Cyphostemma juttae.

Hardiness Zone & More

The Cyphostemma juttae are hardy to 26 F (or less), but it is best to avoid freezing temperatures, especially if the plants are young. Cyphostemma comes from the hot, dry areas of southern Africa, so it has no problem taking temperatures up to 65 F - 85 F; however, it may need some afternoon shade in hot climates to avoid leaf burn. In terms of hardiness zones, the Cyphostemma juttae is typically suited for USDA hardiness zones 9-11.

In these zones, the very sought-after plant Cyphostemma juttae can withstand mild winter temperatures and thrive in the warm, sunny conditions of its natural habitat. It is advisable to keep plants in large containers that can be transferred quickly to a protected area if one lives in a very damp environment. Since cyphostemmas are only partially resistant to frost, this is also beneficial in areas with severe frost. Therefore, if you live in a colder region, it's best to grow your Cyphostemma jutte as a container plant that can be brought indoors during the winter months or provide protection from frost.

With the help of Cyphostemma juttae, you'll start to spend less time maintaining your garden and more time taking in its beauty!

A great value for a state of the art monitor.
I use two of these at my home work station. I am not a gamer, I use these mainly for working on multiple spread sheets and financial programs. The high pixel count of these 8k video displays makes it easy to read the screens. I have Windows 11 on my computer, so installation of the 3 monitors was easy. I have my computer monitor set at 150% and these two monitors set at 125% magnification. All three are at eye level. They came with display port cables which my computer and hubs do not have, so I in a 8K HDMI cable for each. I do play a few videos, and those look great. The curved screen helps in keeping all the monitor sort of equidistant from my eyes which helps everything on the 3 screens stay in focus for my 80 year old eyes. I have reflections on my computer screen, but both of these Koorui monitors are reflection free. I first went to Costco to pick up a monitor and this allowed me to zero in that I wanted the 8k and curved screen in a 24 or 27 inch monitor. They did not have that combination. I tried just one of the Koorui monitors along with my older monitor. The Koorui was so far superior that I quickly purchased the second one and tossed out my outdated one. I use these for hours each day, and at this low price I feel I can easily justify this investment. I feel secure these monitors will be with me for a long time.

This sucks.
Well i picked this up on sale for black friday and finally got around to installing my new video card, psu, extra ssd, and finally hooking up this new monitor. The new video card doesn't have a spot for the cable from my old 1080p monitor, so this is the only monitor i can use. It's christmas eve btw. Anyways the monitor fires up fine and looks great for about 6 hours of use. Then as i'm getting ready to boot up elden ring a big vertical magenta line of pixels appears on the right half of the screen, as well as a grey horizontal line of pixels. I didn't do anything before this happened, the monitor was sitting completely still on my desk. One second it worked the next i've got this line. I tested another cable, and while unplugging the displayport cable from the monitor the pink line stayed there as it was registering "no input." So it's definitely the monitor that's broken and not something wrong with my video card or software. I tried contacting technical support early in the morning and still haven't received anything at 5 pm. I realize it's christmas eve but I'm now stuck without a functioning monitor for probably my entire time off for christmas, and will have to pay return shipping, which soaks up all the money i saved getting it on sale. Over all i'm very unhappy with this purchase. edit: Koorui, the manufacturer, never got back to me about the broken monitor they sent me, so i contacted amazon and told them my situation. they told me they couldn't send a replacement because it wasn't available, even though you can order the exact monitor off amazon through prime right now. this order was a critical failure in service with both koorui and amazon. they can't seem to lift a finger for someone who paid them money for a product they sell. they want me to ship the monitor back, receive my money back, then purchase the same monitor for a higher price from them. I'm changing my review to 1 star and i would give 0 stars if i could. unbelievable. edit: ok i shipped the monitor back. they sent me a replacement monitor and this monitor also does not work. it doesn't turn on. i plugged it into both a surge protector and a power strip, then switched the cable and it doesn't turn on. i would be extremely wary of this company and their products. edit 2: by far my worst purchasing experience on amazon. with the second broken monitor they shipped me the support guy actually asked if i would take it to a tv repair shop. i told him we don't have that in the united states and returned the item for a full refund. they got to keep my $150 for about 3 months though. these people should not be allowed to sell on amazon.

Koorui 34E6UC (34" 3440×1440, 180 Hz, 1000R curved VA panel) — But Missing Info Buyers Should Know
Size: 34"/WQHD/1000R/HDR400
Review: I purchased two of the Koorui 34‑inch curved ultrawide monitors for a dual‑monitor setup, and so far I’m very pleased with them. The picture quality is sharp, the brightness is solid, and the “Normal” color preset looks natural without any adjustments. For the price, these 34‑inch panels deliver very good performance. That said, there are a few important details the product listing and reviews don’t mention — and knowing them ahead of time would have saved me some stress during installation. 1. YES, the 34‑inch model DOES include stand‑offs (spacers) This is not mentioned anywhere in the listing, and even Amazon’s Rufus incorrectly says they are *not* included. They actually come in the small accessory packet with the manual. If you’re mounting these monitors, you will need those stand‑offs because of the recessed VESA pattern. They are already in the box — just not advertised. I rushed to order a separate spacer kit because the listing didn’t mention it, so I’m putting this here to help the next person avoid that. 2. One of my monitors flashed briefly until I disabled FreeSync On one of the two monitors, I noticed a quick bright “flash” when moving the mouse. Turning off Adaptive Sync / FreeSync in the monitor’s menu fixed it instantly. The other monitor didn’t have this issue, so it seems to vary by panel. Not a defect — just something to be aware of if you see flicker or brightness pops. 3. Color and brightness match well once set manually After setting both monitors to the same brightness, contrast, and color mode, they match very well side‑by‑side. The “Normal” color preset looks the most accurate on these VA panels. 4. Build quality and packaging are solid Both monitors arrived well‑protected, and the included cables work fine. The stand is basic, but I’m using monitor arms, so that wasn’t a factor for me. 5. Too early to comment on long‑term support or durability I’ve only had these monitors set up for a few hours, so I can’t speak yet to long‑term reliability or how responsive Koorui’s support is. I’ll update this review if anything changes over time. Bottom line: These 34‑inch Koorui ultrawides are excellent for the price, especially for gaming or a dual‑monitor setup. Just be aware that: - Stand‑offs ARE included (despite the listing not saying so) - FreeSync may need to be turned off on some units - Picture quality is great once you match settings manually - Long‑term support is still unknown If the listing had mentioned the included spacers, it would have saved me a last‑minute order — so I hope this review helps the next person.

Awesome monitor! (my 3 year review)
So I've owned this monitor for about 3 years now and here's what I have to say about this monitor. The picture quality is actually really good. I got the 1080p version and I mostly use it with my Xbox series x and occasionally will use it for some lighter gaming on my gaming PC both work effortlessly well. The screen size is okay I think next time if it's in the budget I'll buy there 34 inch curved monitor. But for right now I'm sticking with this monitor until it dies and so far it's running strong 3 years later. Right now this monitor cost $80 which is an absolute steal at that price. I paid $130 for it and would say it's absolutely worth getting. There's no flickering. The setup process went smoothly. It's compatible with both my console and gaming PC! I absolutely love this monitor! I don't own the 27 inch version but I'd recommend going with either that size or bigger if you can afford it.
