Native to tropical West Africa from Nigeria east to the Congo. It is most commonly known as the snake plant, mother-in-law's tongue, Saint George's sword and viper's bowstring hemp, among other names. 

Sansevieria Trifasciata is a large houseplant known for its ability to purify the air. It is very good at absorbing toxins such as nitrogen oxides and improving indoor air quality.

It is also a very easy-care houseplant, requiring little maintenance and it’s happy to sit in a spot with either bright light or low light. It has long, stiff, vertical leaves and is a stylish plant with a sculptural look.

Sansevieria Trifasciata, or snake plants, were named ‘Office plant of the year’ in 2020 by a panel of judges focusing on plants for mental health, so if you’re looking for something to brighten up your home office, make you feel good and purify the air - and you’re wondering where to buy your snake plant - then you need look no further!
