Echeveria agavoides "Miranda" is a cultivated variety of Echeveria agavoides, which is a popular succulent plant native to Mexico. This variety is distinguished by its compact and pointed rosette, which resembles the shape of an agave, hence the name "agavoides". "Miranda" is particularly appreciated for its thick, fleshy, green leaves with edges often accented with red or pink, especially when exposed to sufficient light.

Origin: Like the parent species Echeveria agavoides, "Miranda" is adapted to the arid and semi-arid regions of Mexico. It was selected for its distinctive aesthetic qualities, including its color and leaf shape.

Growth: This variety forms compact rosettes which can reach approximately 15 to 20 cm in diameter. Over time, it can produce suckers and form a dense group of rosettes.

Flowers: Echeveria agavoides 'Miranda' produces erect flower scapes bearing bell-shaped flowers, usually red in color with yellow tips, which appear in spring or early summer. The flowers are attractive and add extra interest to the plant.

Light: Prefers a bright exposure, with direct sun for part of the day. Insufficient light can cause the plant to stretch, while adequate sun exposure promotes more intense leaf color and a compact shape.

Watering: As with many succulents, watering should be moderate. It is crucial to allow the substrate to dry out completely between waterings to prevent root rot. During winter, water should be reduced considerably.

Substrate: Well-draining soil is essential. Using a cactus and succulent substrate, which may include coarse sand, perlite, or pumice, is recommended to promote good drainage and plant health.

Toxicity: Echeveria agavoides "Miranda" is not known to be toxic to humans or pets, making it a safe addition to homes and gardens.

Made well. Precise control pouring spout. Stainless steel, not just coated.
Love this little pitcher. It holds up to 12 oz. It's stainless steel, not just coated, and a decent weight. I love the design with the precise control of the eagles beak spout, but I still can't do the "art" very well. The etched numbers inside make a huge difference between making a Cappacino or Combacha as the difference to a lot of these coffee drinks has to do with how much frothed milk you add to your shots of Espresso, so having the etched markings inside is fantastic! The markings are not actually dug/etched INTO the stainless steel. Feels smooth inside to run your fingers over the etchings. Although I've washed it a few times in top rack of dishwasher the etchings haven't faded, so I'm glad about that. The etchings are dark enough to be easily seen. Measure in ounces and ml. Hopefully they will not wear off somehow. That's why I gave it a four star. It's very comfortable to hold and pour.
