'Zwartktop' has long been one of our favorites cultivars and to now have a variegated form is phenomenal! Like its parent, the colours are also exceptionally dark, with plants developing deep shades of red, maroon and black. As the plants mature or when stressed or dormant, the colours continue to darken considerably with the leaf centres turning almost pure black.

Like its parent, the colours are also exceptionally dark, with plants developing deep shades of red, maroon and black. As the plants mature or when stressed or dormant, the colours continue to darken considerably with the leaf centres turning almost pure black.

Plant Care: Generally easy to grow and look after. As the plants are tall growing, pruning is beneficial to encourage branching and to develop a good shape. Grow in good light to achieve the best colours.

Origins: Variegated form of Aeonium 'Zwartkop'
