This hybrid was developed in Thailand from a cross of several large-leaved Anthurium-species, presumably including A. crystallinum, A. magnificum or A. forgetii. Intensive selection has created a form with stable variegation expressed differently in almost every leaf. The plant has been specially bred for ornamental value and more compact growth, making it suitable for both enthusiasts and collectors.

Characteristics

The leaves are heart-shaped to oval and firm in texture, with a slightly velvety leaf surface. The leaf color is dark green, often with a silvery sheen on the veins. What makes this plant really special is its variegated markings: each leaf shows a unique pattern of white or cream spots, stripes or crescents. Sometimes whole leaf halves are white or speckled. Care

Light

Substrate
