This Argentinian species forms a dense, creeping mat of stems and features short, bristly spines that are surprisingly gentle.As a young plant, the Peanut cactus resembles a peanut, but as it grows older, it elongates and begins to cascade out of its container. It is known for easily producing offsets, creating a charming cluster of cacti. It is sensitive to frost, so if there is a chance of freezing temperatures, bring it inside to thrive on a sunny windowsill or under a grow light.
