Sedum / Sedeveria Blue Burrito / Blue Brazil

-Sedum / Sedeveria Blue Burrito / Blue Brazil is a whimsical plant that is apart of the succulent family. This means that this plant holds its water in the leaves on the plant, making them chunky. This is a perfect 'spiller' succulent, that grows downward, cascading over pots, adding texture, color, and visual components, displaying light green colored leaves.

-There is much debate on whether this plant is apart of the Sedum or Sedeveria family of succulents. (Sedeveria is a hybrid of the Sedum & Echeveria family). There is also much debate on the common name of being either 'Blue Burrito' or 'Blue Brazil'. We choose to call this plant by: Sedum Blue Burrito for future reference.

-The leaves on Blue Burrito are very fragile, which means that they can fall off easily when touched. No need to worry, the plant will grow new leaves back on the vines, and each of the leaves that fall off can be propagated into new plants!

-This plant will thrive in bright light location, adding hues to their coloring. This succulent is greenhouse-grown in San Diego. This means that it was grown with covered and filter light. This succulent will thrive best in a bright-lit location, out of direct harsh sun. This plant can be slowly transitioned into full-sun if desired. Blue Burrito does best when gently watered once-twice a week! If this plant is kept inside, it will thrive best when near a window with very bright light.

Ordering Options:

Since each plant is completely unique, each plant varies in size, shape, etc! We do our best to have accurate photos of the plants, but please note, every single plant is different, but in true plant fashion, they will grow!

-4in Pot: This pot size comes with at least three heads.

-6in Hanging Basket: This is a 6in hanging pot, meaning the pot itself measures 6in across the top of the pot.

Shipping

-We carefully package all of our plants with the upmost care. First, we wrap the plants in protective tissue paper, and then with packing paper around the empty edges to ensure safe traveling!

-4in Pot: These pots are shipped ‘bare roots’ and wrapped in protective tissue paper. We occasionally will ship these pots in their plastic growing pots when we feel that it is safe to do so. (ie - depending on what other plants are ordered / where the plants are being shipped to)

-6in Hanging Basket: These pots are shipped in their plastic hanging pot, with soil. The hanger is taken off to ship easier. Just snap on the hanger when receiving the plant. (If shipped outside of the Contiguous US, will be shipped bare roots (HI, AK, PR, etc))

-‘Bare roots’ simply means there is none or very little soil on the roots of the succulent. This is to prevent rotting when shipping, and to prevent the succulent getting damaged in the shipping process. When you receive the succulent, plant the roots & succulent upon receiving and they will continue to grow!

-All of our orders are shipped using USPS or FedEx shipping. Once we package the order, you will receive an email confirmation with the tracking.

*Fragile Succulent: Leaf-Loss*

This succulent is on the fragile side and will most likely experience some leaf-loss during transit. No need to worry, the leaves will grow back on the plant. If you would like to try propagating, these leaves can be propagated into more plants! We do our best to package this succulent with extra care!

It is worth purchasing a Protection Plan on an unfamiliar item
Bought a 3-year protection plan for a nut milk maker machine for $5.99. It was a fairly new kitchen item in our household and we were not familiar with the brand. So, I bought the plan for a piece (peace) of mind. The machine worked nicely for about 18-20 months with daily use until it tripped the circuit outlet. My initial chat with Asurion did not go as I expected due to discrepancy on their end as they see a protection plan for the nut milk maker as a sporting goods valued between $100-$199, not as a kitchen item valued between $30-$39.99. ( I had bought 3 different protection plan on th same day for multiple items purchased on Prime Days). They were looking at a different plan and I was unable to get them to "scroll over" to the appropriate protection plan. I tried again on a different day during the first hour of their contact hours and had a cheerful Asurion agent who was able to find the appropriate kitchen item protection plan. It was a simple and thorough conversation and transaction. I was refunded within hours after I packed up and dropped off the damaged item out to UPS. Moral of the story: Asurion Protection Plan is worth it and contact them at the start of their first day shift, not at the end of their evening shift.

No hassle refund
So glad I bought the plan. After 2.5 years of everyday use of my toaster, it quit working. Contacted Asurion, they emailed a shipping label. A few hours after I dropped the package off at UPS, I had the refund in my Amazon account. Very easy, no hassles.
