Our heavy duty plastic ground cover is designed for applications where the thickest possible plastic must be installed to prevent weeds from coming up. The material is constructed of HDPE and provides an in-ground lifespan of over 100 years. Available in roll widths of 48” and in lengths of 100’, multiple sheets can be overlapped and joined using our HDPE tape. The heavy duty plastic provides a thickness of either 40 mil or 60 mil. The heavy duty plastic ground cover is waterproof and can also be used in areas where a water barrier is required.
The HDPE can be installed either horizontally or vertically in the ground. If installed horizontally it is advised that multiple inches of ground cover is placed over the material as due to its smooth nature material will want to slide on the plastic.
