Ever popular for their unique appearance and forgiving nature, Snake Plants are succulents boasting tall, upright, fleshy leaves. This Golden Flame variety features dark green foliage variegated with golden yellow edges. Reaching an eventual height of 30-60cm, this Snake Plant is happiest in bright indirect light but tolerates full shade too.

The Areca Palm, or Butterfly Palm as it’s also known, makes an excellent focal point with its lush bright green foliage. Tall stems give way to large, feathery fronds that arch outwards, creating a dramatic, eye-catching look. Areca Palms can reach over 1.5m tall and are perfect for placing in sunny corners.

Featuring long, slender leaves in bright green and sunshine yellow tones, Cordyline Kiwi is perhaps the most tropical looking house plant in this collection. Some leaves even adopt pink hues on the margins. Growing to an ultimate height of 90-120cm, Cordyline Kiwi is often referred to as the Good Luck Plant and does an excellent job of brightening the room.

Whether you choose to display your new house plants together or separately, they don’t need a huge amount of attention to flourish. Place each plant in indirect light or partial shade, taking care not to choose a position where strong sunlight can cause leaf scorch. Water Areca Palms and Cordylines weekly, when the top 2-3cm of soil feels dry and reduce watering during the autumn and winter months when the plant isn’t growing. As a succulent house plant, the Snake Plant prefers drier soil and only needs to be watered around once a month, when the soil has fully dried out.
