Seeds are sown in specific positions within a square foot, allowing enough room for each plant to grow to maturity without wasting space. Simply press the Seeding Square into the soil and use the guide of the color-coded holes to plant your seeds!

The template shows proper seed spacing with color-coded holes, which is matched to a vegetable planting chart. This allows you to plant the seeds with exact spacing. A graduated dibber with depth markings removes the guesswork out of setting the right planting depth. When done seeding a square foot section, the impressions left in the soil allows you to line up the template for the next square foot, thus letting you use it to plant your entire garden.
