It is a "carpeting" succulent, meaning it loves to spread out and create a lush, leafy mat.
  
  This resilient plant hails from the mountainous regions of South Africa. Unlike many of its desert-dwelling cousins, the Fairy Crassula is often found in forested areas, which has granted it a superpower rare in the succulent world: it actually thrives in the shade.
  
  The "Fairy" Magic: What makes this plant truly special is its versatility. It is the "utility player" of the garden—it works as a lush indoor hanging plant, a sturdy groundcover in the shade, or a filler in mixed arrangements.
