It is preferable that the soil does not contain much organic material, such as peat moss and that the plant is not fertilized with heavy nitrogen as this can cause an explosion of soft, flabby growth that can make the plant prone to bacterial rots. Decomposed granite is often an excellent media as it has many trace minerals and is similar to the South African quartz fields where these and others of the "Stone Mimicry" are found growing. fits like OEM
Style: PA99892
This fits a 2023 Civic Sport Touring without issue. It looks indistinguishable to the OEM filter. Getting the lid off the airbox is the hardest part as it is wedged in there pretty good. Other than that, this is a very do-able DIY job, and it's a lot cheaper than having the dealer do it. I have no concerns. Thumbs up.

Excellent Value, Easy to install

This filter fit perfectly! I have a 2023 Civic Touring with about 25,000 miles. I bought it new with 2 years of service, and when I went to the dealer for my last free oil change they wanted to charge me $135 to replace my engine air filter and my cabin air filter. Ouch! I have replaced air filters before so I knew it would be a fairly easy job. I was done in about 5 minutes and the filter material is as good as the original Honda filter I replaced.
