Beefsteak Tomato Seeds planting instructions

Growing your own vegetables can be simple and rewarding. Here's a step-by-step guide for the initial stages:

  • Indoor Start - Begin seed cultivation indoors, 6 to 8 weeks prior to outdoor transplantation.
  • Light Requirement - Locate your plants in an area with ample light exposure.
  • Planting Depth and Spacing - Sow seeds 1/8" deep and ensure a gap of 30-48" between each.
  • Germination Temperature - Maintain an environment between 75-90 F for optimal germination.
  • Seedling Temperature - Once seedlings have sprouted, adjust the temperature to around 70 F.
  • Transplantation - Only move your plants outdoors after the frost danger is fully over and when nighttime temperatures are consistently above 45 F.
  • Early Season Care - Use black plastic mulch early in the season to keep the soil warm.

    Beefsteak Tomato harvesting instructions

Getting the best flavor from your tomatoes involves careful observation and patience. Follow these steps to enjoy juicy, ripe tomatoes:

    • Ripening Process - For the fullest flavor, let tomatoes ripen fully on the vine.
    • Checking Ripeness - The ripening begins at the bottom, so closely monitor the base of each tomato.
    • Color Transition - Be aware that tomatoes might ripen before they reach their full color.
    • Harvesting Time - Harvest tomatoes when their skin remains smooth and waxy, even if the color hasn't completely transitioned to the top of the fruit.

Did you know this about Beefsteak Tomatoes

Beefsteak tomatoes get their extra-large size thanks to a quirk in their stem. Years ago, researchers discovered that this type of tomato grows extra stem cells, a development that they say is responsible for its massive growth.

    Color not as pictured
    Color: Purple, Size: Small
Love the top but the color is not even close to what is pictured. Ordered purple, the package label says it's purple, but it is bright hot pink.

Comfortable and gives a lovely sillhouette
    Size: 36F, Color: Taupe Tan
This is one of my favorite bras, even over my usual expensive Third Love bras. It somehow magically supports your bust without constricting it, so you look like you're not even wearing a bra and just have naturally perky breasts. I find I can wear it all day long without discomfort. I've owned for over 3 months, wearing and washing weekly, and it still looks brand new and hasn't lost any elasticity. I'm typically a 34F to 36E depending on brand (I wear 34F in 3rd Love Smoothing Full Coverage, and a 34F in their Comfort Stretch Front Close and 24/7 Classic Wireless), and I ordered this in the 36F. It fits perfectly like a second skin and shows minimal indentions in the back where the bra lies, but no lines anywhere else (I carry my weight in my core and always have lumps and bumps with bras, this one is way better than most). Back to buy more.

    My FAVORITE Bra!
    Size: 44F, Color: Black
These are my FAVORITE bras!! They hold everything in and there is no spillage out of the cups! I own many of these and have yet to be disappointed. I like that they don't cost and arm and a leg either!

Decent low-profile bra, but with caveats for larger chests
First, I had to return the bra three times because the size charts on the manufacturer's website are laughably wrong. By measurement, it had me at a DD. Lo and behold, I was an H. So ignore those size charts, and go off the standard US ones for bras. The band sizes are also near the US standard, but about one standard deviation too small. I'm normally a 36, but I had to buy a 38 in this. The website had me at a 34DD, which was absurd. You should have seen the look on my face when it came and I knew instantly it wouldn't fit. The 38H did, though. I'm typically a 36-38 or H/I/J in most brands. So the pros. This is a great bra if you want to get rid of lines. I have a lot of professional silk blouses, and I can't wear ANY lace underneath them or you can see it. This comes in a lot of neutral colors, too, which is great for those purposes. The shoulder straps are really chunky, which makes it hard to hide in tanks, but it's very comfortable in all other styles of tops. The back strap is quite firm for a bra in this price range, so that the majority of the support is from there, not the shoulder straps. The bra (once I got the right size) actually tacks in the middle, which is rare for me unless I spend over $50 on a bra. I'm also not getting unattractive areas of fat accumulation that happens when your bra doesn't fit and pushes breast tissue out of where it should be. This was important to me, because I want to eliminate lines, and nothing points out where your bra straps are like a small fat roll right under your bra band. The cons don't outweigh the pros, but you should be aware of them. First, the cups are very full-coverage. Anything past a moderate scoop neck will show the bra. I prefer a little less coverage so I can wear mandarin collars. Second, the cups don't have any support outside of the band, shoulder straps, and underwire. If you want your chest to sit high and tight, you're going to have to spend more. It certainly uplifts more than going without a bra, but for larger chests, you're still going to droop a bit more than a bra with firmer cups. This isn't a problem for me with looser and more professional blouses, but I don't like how it makes me look a bit "sloppier" in tighter shirts. For a bra that was $50+ dollars, the cons would make me not purchase it again. But I paid $26 for this, so the cons are quite reasonable for price point, given that I do have a large chest that makes bra shopping quite the chore. It fits the bill for the task of the type of shirts I needed it for. But if you're a full-chested person and want a bra that will work for nearly everything, you're going to need to look elsewhere and spend more.
