Plant Care

Light: Provide bright, indirect sunlight for your Trailing Jade. It appreciates ample light but should be shielded from intense, direct sunlight, which can scorch the delicate leaves. A south or west-facing window with filtered light is ideal.

Temperature: Maintain a warm indoor environment with temperatures between 60-75°F (15-24°C). Protect the plant from cold drafts, as it is sensitive to temperature fluctuations.

Watering: Allow the soil to dry out almost completely between waterings. Water sparingly but thoroughly, as Trailing Jade is drought-tolerant. Overwatering can lead to root rot. Reduce watering during the dormant season (fall and winter).

Soil: Use well-draining cactus or succulent potting mix to ensure good drainage and prevent waterlogged soil. A mix of potting soil, perlite, and sand is suitable.

Pot: Ensure the pot has drainage holes to prevent water accumulation at the root level. Trailing Jade prefers slightly crowded conditions and does not require frequent repotting.

Fertilization: Feed your Trailing Jade sparingly. Apply a balanced, water-soluble cactus or succulent fertilizer diluted to half strength every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Avoid over-fertilizing.

Pests: Senecio Jacobsenii is relatively pest-resistant, but occasionally, mealybugs or aphids may appear. Inspect your plant regularly and treat any infestations promptly with insecticidal soap or neem oil.

Works now that I finally got it to hold. Otherwise would have given it 5 stars. The air vent ‘lip’ on my 2018 Tacoma is so short so not much for this to clamp on to. This was hard to install. Instructions didn’t have anything about putting the parts together and extra cushion pieces. I watched the video and it was like mine once I got it to hold. Build quality: It seems to be pretty strong and will last my truck’s lifetime.  Phone mount: Like that it is strong magnet holder and not bulky Ease of installation: Not easy. Kept not staying attached then finally just got it. I don’t know magic trick but was just about to give up then it caught the small lip and held tight. Ever other attempt kept popping off as I tightened it down.  Value for money: I think at $39.99 was a little high but hopefully last one I ever buy.
