This mix contains Root-Building Nutrition, a combination of ingredients that is expertly crafted to help establish deep roots to grow thick, green turf so that you can build a better, stronger lawn from the roots up. Scotts® Turf Builder® Grass Seed Tall Fescue Mix is designed for full sun and partial shade, and has medium to high drought resistance with high durability. It can be used to seed a new lawn or overseed an existing lawn. For best results, apply in the spring or fall when daily average soil temperatures are consistently between 60°F and 75°F or air temperatures are between 65°F and 85°F. We recommend using a Scotts® spreader to apply this product (please refer to spreader settings on product label). Water daily or as needed to keep the soil surface moist until the seedlings reach at least 2 inches tall. One 32 lb. bag of Scotts® Turf Builder® Grass Seed Tall Fescue Mix has a new lawn coverage of 2,665 sq. ft. and an overseeding coverage of 8,000 sq. ft.

How to Use

Prep New Lawns

• Rake area to loosen the top layer of soil (approximately 2"" deep) and remove any dead grass or debris, ensuring seed-to-soil contact.

Overseeding

• Mow lawn at the lowest setting and bag the clippings. Rake to remove debris, dead grass, and loosen the soil, ensuring seed-to-soil contact.

Apply

• Use a Scotts® spreader to apply the seed at the recommended spreader setting.

Rake

• Lightly rake the seed into the soil to ensure seed is covered just beneath the soil surface.

WHEN AND WHERE TO USE

Where Not to Use

• Do not apply near water, storm drains or drainage ditches.
