Callas are perennial in zones 8-10; in cooler zones, you can lift and store the bulbs in a cool, dry location for the winter, then re-plant them in spring. In hot climates, the plant will die back and go dormant after flowering.
Not recommended for California, where Calla Lilies are considered invasive.
