Ficus always makes for great houseplants. A classic for sure! Ficus lyrata aka "Fiddle Leaf Fig" is known for is huge foliage making a great statement piece for any home with their tree like growth. 

Care:

These need bright indirect light but they can handle 2-3 hours of direct sun if it is morning or evening light. Ficus can go somewhat dry in the soil between full waterings. Usually it is best to wait until the soil is about 3/4ths of the way dry from the top. This can usually be between about 2-3 weeks for larger Ficus, though you will always want to ensure it is dry before watering! When repotting, use a semi-coarse soil that will drain well.
