Installation

These days, more and more European cars have the ISOFIX system, so there is a good chance that yours will have it too. Our Maxi-Cosi FamilyFix3 easily attaches to your car’s ISOFIX anchor points. Follow the steps in our user manual for it to be correctly installed into your car.

Once installed, you can leave the FamilyFix3 in the car. This makes getting in and out of the car very easy, because the Pebble Pro i-Size and Coral baby car seats can be attached to the base with a simple "click”, and our safety carrycot Jade can be attached with a simple "slide”. Visual indicators on the base notify you when your Maxi-Cosi car seat or safety carrycot is correctly secured, and you are ready to "go”.

The also FamilyFix3 fits our Pearl Pro 2 i-Size car seat for toddlers, allowing you to continue using it even after your little one has outgrown their first car seat or safety carrycot.

The FamilyFix3 can be installed with the Jade safety carrycot, the Pebble Pro i-Size and Coral baby car seats, or the Pearl Pro 2 i-Size toddler car seat.

Additionally, the FamilyFix3 enables you to install the toddler car seat in rear-facing. For greater protection of your little one’s head and neck, experts recommend that your baby travel in the rear-facing position until he or she grows to 105 cm (approx. 4 years).
