Monstera deliciosa 'Thai Constellation' is one of the most sought-after variegated plants in cultivation. As a hemiepiphyte, it produces increasingly impressive leaves when given a moss pole or support to climb.
Origins
Native to the tropical rainforests of southern Mexico and Central America, Monstera deliciosa grows as a hemiepiphyte, climbing from the forest floor into the canopy. 'Thai Constellation' was developed through tissue culture in Thailand in the late 1990s, and the stable variegation is a result of a cellular mutation introduced during that process.
