One of the main reasons is its brightly colored stems and heart leaves that are simply electric. This Philodendron will brighten up any room with its unique splash from the tropics. Originally from Central America and the Caribbean, this lush beauty thrives in brighter light conditions and is relatively easy to maintain. It’s about half a foot tall and wide give or take a couple of inches.

A Beautiful Mess

The Brasil has rose-gold stems that coil around the pot like wild vines. There’s no rhyme or reason, just stems that weave in and out around each other until they form a messy nest that cradles their bulb-shaped leaves. Eventually, the winding stems may get too leggy. If this happens, trim them up a bit to encourage a bushier look. Then you can collect the tips of the clippings and use them for propagating.
