Also known as 'Camellia' or ’Touch-Me-Nots’ (not to be confused with Jewel Weed). Growing Information: Sow outdoors after the danger of frost has passed. For earlier starts, sow seed 4-6 weeks early indoors. Light is required for germination so very light covering only. Seed germinates in 7-14 days at 21 C. Once germination occurs, grow under lights at a slightly cooler temperature before hardening off and transplanting to a sunny site in the garden. Space plants 12″ apart. Plants will respond well to 1-2 hours of shade in the heat of the afternoon.
