Plant Description

Dieffenbachia are native to the new world tropics of Mexico and to the south of Argentina. They’ve become widely popular all over the world as houseplants due to their adaptive nature. Alongside that, they’re pretty effective at cleaning the air like many other plants. It has been known to grow up to 6 feet tall in the perfect environments.

Tropic Snow Dumb Cane is one of the largest and most beautiful of the dieffenbachia plants to increase the beauty of your house.
What makes it special:

  • Easy to care and maintain.

  • Perfect indoor decorative plant.

  • Attractive foliage plant.

  • best air purifier plant.

Growing Conditions:

Sunlight :  Keep the plant in indoor indirect bright light or artificial bright light. Protect the plant from direct harsh sunlight as it can cause damage to the foliage.

Soil: The soil should be well drained and fertile rich in oragnic content.

Watering: Poke your finger/plain small stick into the soil to check the moisture. Water when top soil (1-2 inches) feels dry to touch. Water thoroughly in the summer and reduce watering in winter and rainy season.

Application of Fertilizer: During the main growing season feed the plant with organic fertilizer once a month. Loosen the topsoil without disturbing the roots of the plant so it can uptake the nutrients and moisture easily.

Re-potting : When a plant outgrows in current pot, re-pot with fresh potting soil and some fertilizer. Do the re-potting late evening and keep the plant in shady area for 2 to 3 days and then move the plant in its suitable climatic condition.

Make this one a holiday tradition.
Format: Hardcover
This is a lovely book that offers the entire holiday experience rather than just Santa and gift giving. The author goes step by step addressing the signs (weather, shorter days, etc.) that take us to Dec. 25th. This is a "family tradition book" that you'll want to keep and bring out each year after Thanksgiving. Set this book on the coffee table in the living room so that everyone can enjoy it. Book supplied by publisher.

Signs of the Christmas Season
Format: Hardcover
Written in a lyrical format, AND THEN COMES CHRISTMAS is a children's book that illustrates various signals that lead up to the Christmas holiday. It begins with changes of the weather and includes cutting paper snowflakes, hanging colored lights, elves and Santa Claus in stores, looking for a Christmas tree, holiday concerts, making and wrapping gifts, and various other activities. The illustrations are warm and joyful and feature a bi-racial family. AND THEN COMES CHRISTMAS makes a good book to read in mid-November and early December to children.

It Should be Read by Parents and Children Together
Format: Hardcover
I will always remember that when I was a child, I read Manners Can be Fun by Munro Leaf with my mother. When I found out that 4 of his books, including Reading Can be Fun, were still available I hunted them down. As a parent and psychologist, married to a teacher, I believe that all parents should read this book, as well as the others, with their children at an early age instead of letting them watch TV unattended. It worked with my children. It is an investment well worth the time.

Love them all!
Format: Hardcover
My son has long loved the story of Ferdinand (as have I), so I was delighted to be pointed to these books, now back in print. My son is impatient to read, and reading this aloud to him has been wonderful...For him to think of the places he'll go, and the friends he will meet and share with others is magical. All within books. I highly recommend!

Reading can be fun.
Format: Hardcover
I particularly like Munro Leaf's book on reading, which was written for young children to either read or be read to. The logic of choosing good things to read to develop the mind ( as compared to exercise for the body to develop) is a basic concept in the book. The stick figures are fun and mirror the text well.
