Ajuga 'Texas Tough' doesn't just survive, it thrives, solidly covering the ground, even in full southern sun with 100% humidity and almost daily rains. You'll love this insanely sturdy grower, composed of tightly woven glossy green leaf rosettes, forming a spectacular, weed-suppressing 4' wide patch in only 2 years. Stalks of purple flowers top the clump in late spring. We mistakenly introduced this as Ajuga 'New Orleans' in 2017...our faux pas.
