Philodendron "Golden Dragon Variegata" is a stunning aroid with thick green leaves with speckled yellow variegation that have several deep lobes. This hybrid is from Thailand. This plant truly makes you feel like you are in paradise. The leaves can grow large but can stay manageable in terrariums. This Philodendron grows well in moderate light and a moist, well draining substrate. We have successfully kept these in 18 x 18 x 24 vivariums, however, they outgrow them quickly as they climb.

 

All of our cuttings have adventitious, aerial roots. Our rooted specimens will have at least a few active roots and will be established plants. Our plants are grown in high humidity in terrariums and greenhouses, therefore may need acclimation to the average home humidity / environment. Please contact us for acclimation information if you are not planning to use this plant in a terrarium, greenhouse, or humid room.

The cases are helpful; however, realize that there are NO answers whatsoever to the questions presented in the cases--not a huge problem I suppose, b/c you can google everything, but certainly an annoyance. (esp. when there are multiple possible answers. The author states in the foreword that some of the cases are real; in which case, why not provide the justification presented in the patient's chart as to why that patient takes a particular drug, esp. considering that you may take a drug for its side effects rather than its therapeutic effect. . .anyhow. . ) I think if the author provided at least SOME insight/guidance to the cases that it would be much more helpful, but until then, I'm skeptical as to why others gave this book 5 stars.
