This was one of the first seeds in the Seed Library, along with Purple Podded Peas. We grew the bean up the flag pole at the Gardiner Library, where the Seed Library started in 2004. It was a challenge to save the seeds as patrons entering the library would reach out, pluck a pod, and still be munching when they walked in the front door.
