We grew Solar Flare Tomato because we are Space X fans. Solar Flare Tomato will be a show stopper in your garden and on your plate! Developed by Brad Gates at Wild Boar Farms, it is touted as being one of their best "work horses" for consistent flavor and production.

It is red and orange bi-color stripes and as an indeterminate open-pollinated variety it will produce hefty 8-10 oz. tomatoes. Some say it can be prone to cracking, but when we trialed this variety and adapted it to hydroponic growing conditions, it performed beautifully and even kept on the vine for a short while until we could pick it. It is deliciously sweet and excellent for slicing and eating in sandwiches or salsas. This is definitely a variety to try!
