Elevate your garden with our premium Carnations seeds (Dianthus), perfect for adding vibrant, fragrant blooms to your space. These no GMO, heirloom seeds are easy to grow and ideal for any pollinator garden or cottage garden. With stunning carnation flowers and dianthus flowers, you’ll enjoy a season full of color and charm. Whether you’re growing them in containers or directly in the soil, these perennial seeds will thrive in various climates, making them perfect for organic gardening.

How to Grow and Germinate Carnations (Dianthus) Seeds:
Gather Your Materials:
Carnations (Dianthus) seeds (Ensure they are high-quality heirloom seeds, no GMO)
Seed trays or small pots
Seed-starting mix or well-draining potting soil
Clear plastic wrap or dome to maintain humidity
Spray bottle (for misting)
Grow lights or sunny location
Start Seeds Indoors:
When to Start: Carnations seeds can be started indoors 8-10 weeks before the last frost. These easy to grow seeds will thrive in well-draining soil.
Soil Preparation: Use seed trays filled with a light, well-draining seed-starting mix.
Soaking (Optional): Soak Dianthus seeds in lukewarm water for a few hours to encourage faster germination.
Sowing the Seeds:
Depth: Sow the Carnations seeds about 1/8 inch deep. Lightly cover them with soil to maintain moisture.
Spacing: Space the seeds about 1 inch apart in trays for healthy growth in your pollinator garden or container garden.
Mist the soil gently to keep it moist.
Provide Warmth and Humidity:
Temperature: Keep seed trays in a warm location with temperatures between 65°F to 70°F (18°C to 21°C).
Humidity: Cover the trays with clear plastic wrap or a plastic dome to maintain humidity, ensuring successful germination of your organic seeds.
Leave a gap for air circulation to prevent mold growth.
Light Requirements:
Light Exposure: Dianthus seeds require light to germinate, so place the trays in a sunny window or under grow lights. This will help them bloom into beautiful fragrant flowers.
Grow Lights: If using grow lights, provide about 12-16 hours of light daily to encourage robust growth.
Germination Time:
Germination Period: Carnations seeds usually take 7-14 days to germinate. Patience will reward you with strong, healthy seedlings ready for sustainable gardening.
Transplanting the Seedlings:
Once the seedlings have 2-3 sets of true leaves, thin them out or transplant them into individual pots. This ensures strong growth for your fragrant plants and border flowers.
Outdoor Planting:
When to Plant Outdoors: Transplant seedlings into your garden after the last frost.
Location: Choose a sunny spot for your Dianthus plants. They thrive in full sun but can tolerate partial shade, making them perfect for both cold climate zones and warmer areas.
Soil: Carnations prefer well-draining, slightly alkaline soil. These perennial seeds will grow well in sandy or loamy soil.
Watering and Care:
Watering: Water gently but thoroughly, keeping the soil moist without overwatering. Carnations are drought-tolerant once established and require less frequent watering.
Fertilizing: Feed your dianthus plants every 6-8 weeks during the growing season with a balanced fertilizer to encourage abundant blooms in your flower garden.
Pruning and Deadheading:
Deadheading: Regularly remove spent flowers to encourage continuous blooming throughout the season.
Pruning: After the first bloom, prune back your Carnations plants to promote a second flush of flowers.
Pests and Diseases:
Pests: Watch for common pests like aphids and spider mites. Use natural pest deterrents or insecticidal soap as needed.
Diseases: Ensure good air circulation to prevent fungal diseases, especially powdery mildew.
Harvesting Seeds:
Seed Saving: Allow a few flowers to go to seed. Once the seed pods are brown and dry, collect the seeds for future planting, ensuring a steady supply of your favorite heirloom flowers.
Overwintering:
In colder regions, protect your Carnations by mulching around the base to insulate them from frost.
If growing in containers, bring the pots indoors during winter to protect them from freezing temperatures.

Excellent for price, you won't be sorry
If you are looking for a watch with a lot of features that doesn't cost a lot, this is your watch. I tear up watches fairly easily in my line of work and after I killed my Seiko I decided I would hunt out a cheap watch. There aren't a lot of watches at this price range that include a stopwatch, date (with day of the week), AND has a light that is bright enough to actually read the time in the dark. This one does. The watch not dainty; it is big and bulky, bigger than I thought it would be, but not unwieldy and not super heavy. Expect it to be big. This also helps with readability (My son can read the time on this watch from the other side of the couch). The band feels rugged, made of a pliable and soft- feeling rubber and has a two- pronged belt- like closure (think 'biker belt') that keeps it secure on the wrist. Additionally, the holes for the band goes the entire length of the band so it is adjustable for really small wrists up to about 9.25" circumference. Others have complained about how easily the face scratches, but I suspect they've failed to remove the protective coating on the lens. It's a protective film that you have to get your fingernail under to pull off. Once that's off, the lens is crystal clear and fairly tough. I've had mine for a week now and used it under some fairly harsh conditions and the lens is still clear and scratch-free. My only complaint seems petty for a watch at this price point, but the strap-end hold down 'belt'--- the loop that holds down the extra length of the strap when it's buckled--- moves easily and so in use it will occasionally come off and you have to retuck the end back into it. But seriously, this is really minor. If you need an inexpensive digital that's easy to read in both daylight and darkness, ya don't mind a large and bulky, rugged- looking watch, and don't want to spend an arm and a leg, get this one. You likely won't be sorry.

Nice heavy leather with a pebbled look - limited storage
Color: Brown (Bifold), Color: Brown (Bifold)
This is a pebbled leather wallet from Carhartt. I got the brown version and it is a sturdy thicker type of leather than my other wallets. It has a real leather smell and I like the stitching on it as well as the branded carhartt logo on the front lower corner. Things to be aware of that I wish were a bit better. The wallet is on the small side of the spectrum, the area where you keep paper money is just the one compartment, there is no divider like many wallets have. Also, the left inside of the wallet has the clear window where you usually put your photo-id . In this window it is actually a brown mesh rather than a clear plastic so if showing an id you will likely have to take it out each time instead of flashing it. Also, there is not an area behind the "pocket" for the license and the right side just has 3 credit card slots. These are not necessarily bad things but if you are used to carrying around a lot of cards this one may be a challenge. The quality and thickness of the leather give it a nice western look. I will use this wallet when I dont have to carry too much. If you carry a lot of cash this isn't the best but most these days just need a couple of credit cards and a license and this works well for that.

Compact and exactly as pictured! Great quality leather.
Color: Black (Bifold), Color: Black (Bifold)
I am very satisfied with this wallet; it is exactly as described in the listing and shown in the photos. Key Features: • ID Compartment: There is a dedicated section for your ID. It features a mesh cover rather than a fully transparent plastic window. Personally, I don't find this to be a problem because I usually take my ID out to show it anyway, rather than handing over my whole wallet. • Spacious for Bills: Even though it’s a compact bifold, there is plenty of room for bills to fit flat without folding them. There is even a bit of extra space left over. • Design & Size: It’s a very compact and neat wallet, perfect for those who prefer front-pocket options or don't want a bulky feel. Final Verdict: The "full grain patina" leather looks and feels great. If you are looking for a reliable, well-made, and compact wallet, this is a perfect choice.

Durable Leather Wallet with a Minimal Design
Color: Black (Bifold)
This is a nice, heavy-duty wallet that feels built to last. The leather quality is good right out of the box, though it’s a bit stiff at first. If you prefer a softer feel, applying some leather conditioner or Neatsfoot oil helps break it in nicely. The layout is simple and practical. Three card slots on one side, an ID holder on the other, and a full-length pocket for cash. It keeps things minimal, which is great if you don’t want a bulky wallet sticking out of your pocket. The only thing I wish it had is RFID protection, but aside from that, it’s a solid everyday wallet that does exactly what it’s supposed to do.

Rugged, Practical, and Built to Last
Color: Brown (Bifold)
I’ve been using this Carhartt full grain leather wallet for a while now, and it’s exactly what you’d expect from the brand—tough, reliable, and no-nonsense. The leather has a really nice feel right out of the box, and over time it’s developed a great patina that gives it that broken-in, worn-in look without feeling worn out. I work in a pretty hands-on environment, so my wallet takes a beating being in and out of pockets, around dust, dirt, and everything else—and this one holds up without any issues. The stitching is solid, and the leather doesn’t feel like it’s going to crack or fall apart like some cheaper wallets I’ve had in the past. I went with the bifold style, and it has plenty of room for cards, cash, and IDs without feeling bulky. It strikes a good balance between capacity and comfort in your pocket. Everything stays secure, and it doesn’t stretch out too quickly either. Overall, if you want a durable, good-looking wallet that actually gets better with age, this is a solid choice. Definitely feels like something you’ll have for years.
