Zantedeschia aethiopica 'Kiwi Blush' (Arum Lily)
Zantedeschia 'Kiwi Blush' is a beautiful and elegant hardy arum lily, producing classic white funnel-shaped spathes with a delicate pink blush to the throat in summer. The large, glossy, lance-shaped green leaves are highly ornamental in their own right, creating a lush, architectural presence in the border even before the flowers appear.
A hardy form derived from Zantedeschia aethiopica, 'Kiwi Blush' is more resilient than the tender coloured-spathe varieties and will overwinter reliably in most UK gardens when given a sheltered spot and a good mulch. It thrives in moist or boggy conditions, making it ideal for planting beside ponds, streams, or in damp shaded borders. In mild winters it can remain semi-evergreen.
