Calcium Nitrate Fertilizer provides a fast-acting nitrogen source plus calcium for improved fruit and vegetable quality. This fertilizer contains ammoniacal and nitrate nitrogen, which results in quick uptake and fast growth responses. Nitrate nitrogen also improves the uptake of potassium, calcium and magnesium by the plant.

Calcium has many important benefits for plants. It improves cell wall strength, which leads to higher-quality fruits with a longer shelf-life. Additionally, improved cell wall strength increases the plants ability to handle pest and disease pressure. Calcium also increases heat-tolerance and helps to reduce the amount of heat stress experienced by plants in warmer climates.

Calcium Nitrate Fertilizer works great on tomatoes and peppers to reduce blossom end rot. It also helps to prevent tip burn in lettuce and rust spot in potatoes, both of which result from calcium deficiencies. Adequate calcium levels help to reduce stem rot in broccoli plants, allowing for larger heads. Calcium Nitrate is also a great product for growing brussels sprouts to ensure uniform sprouts along the stalk.

Our Calcium Nitrate Fertilizer is a water-soluble formulation that can be used with our EZ-FLO Injector in conjunction with a drip irrigation system. It can also be applied as a foliar spray, or by dissolving in a watering can and applying to the soil at the plant roots. Calcium Nitrate may be applied in the granular state as well. Side dress by applying fertilizer at least 2 inches away from the plant stem. Cover fertilizer with soil for best results.

Calcium Nitrate Fertilizer Use Recommendations

Injection: Apply 10 to 15 pounds per 1,000 square feet throughout the life of the plant. "Spoon feed" by applying at two week intervals, 5 pounds per 1,000 square feet at a time.

Foliar Spray: Mix 2-4 tablespoons per 1 gallon of water and spray leaves. Be careful doing this in really warm temperatures as the leaves can burn if outside temperatures are too hot.

Side Dress: Apply a tablespoon per plant, or 2 lbs per 100' row. Apply fertilizer at least 2 inches away outside of plant stems. Do not allow contact with wet plant foliage.

The first sunscreen that worked for my skin
I usually avoid wearing sunscreen because most of the ones I’ve tried make me break out. I have acne-prone skin, so finding a sunscreen that doesn’t clog my pores or cause new blemishes has always been a challenge. After trying Good Molecules Moisturizing Rich Sunscreen SPF 30, I was pleasantly surprised. The formula feels moisturizing without being overly greasy, and it absorbs nicely into my skin. It leaves my face feeling hydrated and comfortable throughout the day. Most importantly, I’ve been using it regularly and have not experienced the breakouts that I normally get from sunscreen. That alone makes this product a winner for me. I also like that it doesn’t have a strong fragrance and doesn’t leave my skin feeling heavy. While it has a richer texture than some sunscreens, it still wears well under makeup and doesn’t pill on my skin. The SPF 30 mineral protection gives me peace of mind knowing I’m protecting my skin from sun damage without sacrificing my skin’s overall appearance and health. If you’ve struggled to find a sunscreen that won’t trigger breakouts, I definitely recommend giving this one a try. Overall, I’m very impressed with this sunscreen and will continue repurchasing it. It’s one of the few sunscreens I’ve found that provides good sun protection while being gentle on my acne-prone skin. Rating: 5/5 stars.

Good facial sunscreen
I absolutely love the good molecules brand. This brand helps me keep my skin glowing and clear throughout all seasons especially since where I live has up and down weather. This sunscreen is super moisturizing. However coming from someone who’s black this does leave a minor white cast

Reapplication is important
I was looking for a moisturizing sunscreen I could wear on days when I’m not wearing makeup, mainly just to protect my face from sunburn while still keeping my skin hydrated. This one caught my attention because it’s a mineral sunscreen and also advertised as moisturizing. One of the things I really like is the price point. Compared to other similar sunscreens, this moisturizer is affordable and feels like a good value for daily use. It also gives me peace of mind knowing it is made without certain harsh or harmful chemicals, which was a big plus for me when choosing a sunscreen for my face. The texture is also decent—it feels more like a lightweight moisturizer than a heavy sunscreen, so it’s comfortable for everyday wear. One downside for me: I didn’t see anywhere in the product description that clearly emphasizes the need to reapply every 2 hours, which is standard for sunscreen but still something I wish was more obvious upfront. Realistically, most people don’t want to keep reapplying moisturizer throughout the day, especially when you’re just running errands or staying indoors near windows. Overall: It’s a good budget-friendly mineral sunscreen for daily use, especially if you’re looking for something simple and moisturizing. Just be aware that like all sunscreens, consistent reapplication is important for full protection.

Clean product!
Does not leave white residue, but feels light and moisturizing. Very few clean products containing spf, this one rates high on Yuka.
