A classic, gorgeous choice for a border or planted closer together as a hedge, the Japanese Boxwood is a common shrub used in a wide variety of landscaping displays. Easy to grow and with a good grow rate so you don’t have to wait a lifetime for them to be the size you want; this particular variety of Boxwood shrub is slightly larger than others and is also a somewhat lighter shade of green than other varieties. Boasting a mature height of 5-6 feet tall and 4-6 feet wide in full sun to partial shade and average, slightly cool and moist soil, growing the Japanese Boxwood is as simple as planting it in the ground and establishing a proper root structure. Not only is the dark green foliage gorgeous all year long, in the Spring, small creamy yellow flowers also develop in small clusters that are surprisingly fragrant for their size.

The Japanese Boxwood offers year-round greenery and is incredibly easy to care for, making it a versatile choice for gardeners of all experience levels. Its compact size, tolerance to pruning, and ability to withstand heat and cold make it a reliable and stylish addition to any landscape. Whether you’re looking for a low hedge, topiary, or an evergreen accent, Japanese Boxwood delivers classic beauty with minimal effort.

Do not recommend
Edible, though barely. Definitely the worst tasting oysters I've tried of all the brands. Hopefully I don't get food poisoning as has been reported by other reviewers.

High quality product.
Warmth? I’m not sure what that means. I make a simple dish out of these, some milk, butter and salt and pepper—then I “warm” it up. They’re a little pricey but the quality and taste/flavor is great. I would definitely buy them again.

Good and can be used in many dishes.
These are pretty good mussels they have not been smoked or anything added to it but mussels, water and salt. Since they are packed like that, you can use them in a variety of dishes. I would buy them again but only when they're on sale because they are pricey.

Meaty and flavorful
I ate these straight from the tin at room temperature, sometimes sopping up the extra liquid with decent bread. I purchased these because I wanted to try an alternative to the King Oscar. I've tried a couple different kinds of mackerel over the years, and while the King Oscar has been the best I find their olive oil varieties to be a bit acrid. Not so with these Otter Kingdom fillets. Theses are actual fillets, so they are larger and meatier, and in my experience they have a looser grain than the mackerel I'm used to. They are high-quality, so I'm not detecting any bones and there's no formaldehyde-flavor, no imperfections in the cut. The oil is quite thin/watery and fairly small in volume. This isn't an issue for me, if anything I'd say it's welcome as it doesn't overpower the fish. These make a great compliment to my tinned fish rotation, which includes tuna, squid/octopus, sardines, cod liver, oysters, and sometimes sprats, salmon, and trout. The price is better than King Oscar, so I can have it more regularly without feeling like I'm being immoderate. Would recommend.
