Once sprouts appear, plant the seeds in nutrient-rich, muddy soil submerged in shallow water. We should gradually increase sunlight availability for the sapling to reduce possibility of sun burn of leaves.  During winter season (if atmospheric temperature is less than 20⁰ C), the germination rate may be adversely affected and even after germination, the plant growth may reduce. This careful process ensures strong, healthy lotus plants that will enhance your aquatic garden.
