Echeveria Violet Queen is a fast-growing succulent with long and narrow leaves that curve slightly towards the tips, pointing upward like a lotus. These leaves are silver-green with hits of pink on the edges and tips.

How to care for Echeveria Violet Queen

Sun/Location: Like most Echeverias, Echeveria Violet Queen requires indirect bright sunlight to maintain its color and shape. It can be placed outdoors in spring and fall to get full sunlight. Provide shade cloth for succulent during summer to avoid sunburn. In winter, protection from frost is needed.

Soil/Pot: To ensure the health of succulents, they need porous, well-draining soil to live in. To create an adequate cactus mix, add pumice, perlite, or grit to cactus soil to provide the proper drainage. 

Watering: Succulents require little watering but don't like to sit in wet soil. The best way of watering is the soak and dry method. Water thoroughly when the soil is dry. You can use a moisture meter to detect soil moisture and determine if succulent plants need watering.

Looks good but the wall anchors is TRASH!

The product is heavy and sturdy once you get it up completely. The issue I have is with the instructions... 1. The 5/16 drill bit is recommends is WAY TO BIG. The Anchors it comes with will slip right through. The screws that is comes with are WAY TO SMALL for the weight. I recommend getting better ones from the hardware store and painting the screws black for better aesthetics. 2. The instructions say to put it together first then hang it on the wall. That is great so you can see where you want to place it and because it is actually bigger than it looks, but you will need to de-assemble it from the bottom shelf down after you mark where you want to place it, then put that part on the wall, then reassemble it from there, securing the top part to the wall last. The instructions sucked but that is what worked best for me. Another thing is when you first assembling it, you will notice that you will have to unscrew it a bit so the pipes can fast the correct way. This will make it feel flimsy, but it will tighten up when you secure it to the wall. Also, like some people said in previous reviews, some of the black paint did peel off the pipes, not to much for me but it was noticeable if you look at it hard enough.

However, its important to note that the wall anchors they provide are way too big for the screws. The screws just fall into the inside of the anchor without even being screwed in. So there's no way you could secure the wall unit with the ones provided. We had to replace the anchors with some I already had. Other than that very happy with the quality and look.

Unfortunately because of space and the way my wife wanted these spaced, we didn't use the third shelf, but we're definitely going to find some place else in the house to mount that later.
