Pogostemon Stellatus Dassen is a beautiful aquarium stem that produces long, narrow leaves that are primarily orange in color with varying shades of pinkish red depending on the conditions provided. This particular variation can be quite finicky and should be kept by aquarists who have experience growing difficult aquatic species. We recommend softer water conditions along with a nutrient-dense aquarium soil, CO2 injection and a complete macro/micro nutrient dosing regiment.
Once established and growing well, Pogostemon Stellatus Dassen will require regular pruning to maintain the desired appearance in planted aquaria. Trimming can be done the same as any other aquarium stem - Simply trim along the stem and replant into the soil.
