Grow flavorful, mildly spicy peppers with Anaheim Chili Pepper Seeds, a classic Capsicum annuum heirloom often called New Mexico Chile. Known for their smoky flavor, mild heat, and culinary versatility, Anaheim peppers are perfect for roasting, stuffing, grilling, or blending into salsas, tamales, and sauces.

First popularized in California by Emilio Ortega in the late 1800s, this variety has become a favorite among home gardeners for its reliable yields and well-balanced flavor. Anaheim peppers mature from bright green to deep red and register 500–2,500 Scoville Heat Units (SHU)—offering gentle spice that enhances rather than overpowers your dishes.

Compact, high-yielding plants grow 2–3 feet tall and 18–24 inches wide, thriving in full sun and well-drained soil. Ideal for raised beds, patio containers, or even hydroponic systems, they produce consistent harvests across USDA zones 3–12.

Mild, Smoky, and Versatile:

  • Long, slender peppers with mild heat and deep, smoky flavor
  • Perfect for roasting, stuffing, grilling, or canning
  • 500–2,500 SHU—milder than jalapeños but full of flavor
  • Compact plants suited for gardens, patios, or containers
  • Matures in 75–90 days from planting

Why Gardeners Love Anaheim Peppers:

  • Reliable yields and strong adaptability in various climates
  • Non-GMO, open-pollinated heirloom seeds for sustainable growing
  • Excellent for traditional Mexican and Southwestern cooking
  • Consistent production with long harvest windows

How to Grow:

  • Start seeds indoors 6–8 weeks before your last frost date.
  • Keep soil temperatures between 65–75°F for germination (7–14 days).
  • Transplant outdoors after frost danger has passed and soil has warmed.
  • Grow in full sun with fertile, well-drained soil and consistent moisture.
  • Harvest when peppers reach desired color—green for mild flavor, red for richer taste.

Harvest & Use:
Roast Anaheim peppers to bring out their signature smoky sweetness, or stuff them with cheese, grains, or meats for classic Latin-inspired dishes. They’re also excellent for drying, canning, or freezing for year-round flavor.

Brilliant! I have been convinced for that the opening ...
Format: Paperback
Brilliant! I have been convinced for some time that the opening verses of I John were speaking about the resurrection and not the incarnation per se. Not that these two are opposed to one another, which is evident from Jensen's title: resurrection presupposes incarnation, but what John has specifically in mind in his letter's opening is the resurrection. So, when John says in his opening "That which was from the beginning, which we heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and have touched with our hands concerning the word of life..." What was heard, seen, looked upon, and touched was the resurrected Christ (cf. John 20:24-29). And next, "the life was manifest" would mean the new life Jesus was resurrected to, that is eternal life never to die again. And now what John has seen and heard concerning the resurrection he has proclaimed to the recipients of his letter. Moreover, it is the resurrection that confirms that Jesus is the Christ; it is his vindication by the Father that he was exactly who he claimed to be and was unjustly put to death by his fellow Jews. This then means that the major conflict taken up within the letter is over the resurrection. To deny the resurrection is to deny that Jesus is the Christ and vice versa. In fact, this is the spirit of the antichrist. Jensen goes into much more detail than this, and provides a reading of the entirety of the letter through the lens of the resurrection. His reading is overall successful and convincing. There is a portion here or there that I would differ from him, but Jensen's thesis is sound and makes remarkable sense of John's epistle. I highly recommend this book.

LOVE MY SINK CADDY!
Color: Black
This caddy is such a game changer for my kitchen. It keeps everything neat and in one place AND no more clutter around the sink! I can fit my soap, sponges, and brushes easily, and it still looks nice on the counter. The drying base really works too! It absorbs water fast and doesn’t get gross like other trays I’ve had. It’s sturdy, doesn’t slip, and even looks kind of decorative. Definitely worth it!
